I love motivating & inspiring people; particularly creative entrepreneurs & professionals, who find themselves in a midlife juncture, on enjoying a full rich life fueled by purpose and passion, even when life seems to be stacked against us at times.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to live a life full of purpose and adventure. As a kid growing up in Brooklyn, New York; I dreamt of living on an island one day, learning how to survive in the wild, acting in film, being a private detective, making art, training as a martial artist, traveling and living in exotic places around the world, find true love and romance, etc.

I’m pretty sure you can blame my love for films and books for those crazy ambitions. I loved movies so much, as a kid, one could often find me in the front row, devouring popcorn at a movie theater, while I should’ve been in class at school. I even snagged a job as an usher at a movie theater during high school, so I could re-watch countless films. Books were no exception. Raised by a family of writers, it was only natural that I had a proclivity to reading countless tales of adventures that allowed me to nose dive into a world of imagination. As I look back now, I realize that the reason why I loved those films and books so much; is that they inspired me to dream big.

I eventually pursued all those crazy dreams— and more; including rappelling out of helicopters in the military at the age of 17; free-fall skydiving, scuba diving, selling my belongings to live and train as a martial arts apprentice for a year; self-funding a forensic psychology degree while working nights; living and training at another Japanese dojo post-graduation; impulsively rejoining the military to give Navy’s BUD/s a shot; working for detective firms in Chicago and Barbados, simultaneously working nights as a bouncer, securing an acting scholarship to pursue an acting career in my thirties; then spontaneously moving to Los Angeles with nothing but a credit card and a dream; building a fine art portfolio with exhibitions in LA; studying outdoor survival skills in California for over a decade, taking up carpentry; living in India for a year for artistic collaboration. Amidst constant global travel, experienced extremes like living in a jungle hut on an island during a severe monsoon. And after traveling to the West Indies for years, in 2023, I eventually realized my childhood dream of owning cliff-side property overlooking the Caribbean ocean.

I’ve managed to narrow down the number of hats I’ve worn over the years, to a handful… fine artist & film actor; and most recently— my latest adventure; life coach to creative visionaries.

So why did I decide to take on the role as a life coach?

Because, I wish I had had a mentor who was in my corner, when I was dealt the occasional ‘bad hand’.

Because, despite all the cool things I’ve experienced and done— like most people, I’ve had my fair share of struggles; such as being nearly abducted on the street at the age of 6 years old; experiencing isolation in high school and expelled for poor academics and behavior in my sophomore year; hanging with the wrong crowds; co-dependency; toxic relationships; forms of abuse that I won’t even share here; experiencing a brief stint of homelessness after separating from the military and harassed by police for being so; staring at the barrel of a gun wondering if this is my last breath; losing friends to cancer, while dealing with a painful breakup with a partner; personally discovering a friend and mentor who passed away in her apartment during the height of the COVID outbreak, and a result; wrestling with PTSD; and something that all people have to deal with at some point in their lives, that almost halted everything I ever worked for and nearly cause me to give up on life & retreat into a shell… losing my father; to cancer.

Of course I could go on. But I want to take a detour, and explain why I’m sharing the ‘good, bad, & ugly’ with you.

The fact is; these negative experiences are a part of all our lives. But, over time, it was getting harder for me to bounce back as quickly as I would have liked to, when dealing with trauma, tragedy, loss, and career challenges, and be as inspired as my more younger version of myself.

But it wasn’t until I worked with a life coach myself, that I realized that not only could I get out of my own way; make big decisions and react to problems differently. But— that I had the option to even thrive during hardship and make a choice to reignite my joy and passions once again.

I discovered I could do things differently.

With this discovery, also came an epiphany that I could share this profound realization with others and make an impact and inspire women & men to live an inspiring life full of creative possibility & joy— no matter where they find themselves in life. And so I founded Mindreset™ to make a profound difference in other people’s lives.

Through adversity comes wisdom and clarity. This paradoxical relationship is strengthened, when we work with those who dedicate time to mentor us responsibly.

This is where a life coach comes in.

As a life coach, I bring my unique set of skills as a fine artist & film actor, with a degree in psychology and Landmark Forum™ training, to mentor in a way that nurtures real growth through sustained accountability and inspiring creative insight, fueled by grounding techniques, positive psychology, Napoleon Hill’s science of success, and most importantly; my commitment to actually make a radical difference in your life.

I’ve worked with successful film directors, and actors, to established fine artists and graphic designers, and even educators, doctors & other coaches. And, while I love working with creative professionals; I’m just as motivated to work with women and men who work in other fields who have the need to step outside their comfort zone and take more creative risks.

I’m committed to utilizing every tool imaginable towards improving other people’s lives from all backgrounds; regardless of race, religion, age, orientation, gender, or disability.

Whether you’d like to take your business to a whole other level, shift into an entirely new chapter in your life; find your creative power again, or simply want to vent to someone who will be there for you, when no one else will take the time to fully listen; I’ll be there for you, to support you wholeheartedly.
